Description

Don't Miss the Excitement at the 2nd EducationUSA Grad School Fairs in Indonesia!

By popular demand, EducationUSA Indonesia is expanding our specialty fairs for U.S. graduate schools to meet prospective students and educational contacts in the major markets of Jakarta and Malang.

In 2015, the first EducationUSA Indonesia Grad School Fairs:

- had the participation of more than 25 U.S. graduate schools.

- attracted almost 3,000 prospective students in Jakarta and Yogyakarta.

Factors to consider:

- As the second largest city in East Java, Malang is well-known as an education city with approximately 80 higher education institutions enrolling 350,000 college students. In 2015, more than 200 students from Malang were awarded Indonesian government scholarships. Our previous U.S. Higher Education fair in Malang was in 2010, where about a dozen U.S. university representatives met around 700 students. Our 2016 Grad School Fair will be held in a major state university, Universitas Muhammadiyah Malang.

- The capital and largest city with over 10 million residents, Jakarta, is home to the largest and oldest university in Indonesia. In addition, there are approximately 57 universities, both Public & Private, with more than 500,000 college students in greater Jakarta. Jakarta-area students receive the most scholarship awards from the Indonesian government and the private sector.

* Greater appreciation by students/parents/teachers for benefits of U.S. graduate education, coupled with greater funding capacity.

* As EducationUSA centers operate locally, EducationUSA advisers have working relationships with local universities and students.

* Attractive value: cost-effective Registration Fees; network with EducationUSA advisers; meet Graduate School Scholarship Providers from both the Indonesian and U.S. Governments; Panel Talks (by invitation).
